San Bernadino one year ago, 9 December 2015
I took these photos exactly one year ago at the site of the San Benardino shooting memorial. At the time, I felt it was too sensitive to post on social media.
Coincidently on the day of the shooting I was nearby, advising clients regarding church security that was getting harassment and threats.
Less than two weeks before that incident, I was publicly briefing the Irvine School Board about school safety and trying to explain to the board that things were starting to get bad...
To my fellow Irvine residents, there is no magical gate separating Irvine from the rest of the world. We need to stay vigilant and not succumb to complacency. I know my friends and neighbors that live here take great pride in our city being so safe and free from violent crimes. I hope we can all work together to keep it that way.
I always said during my campaign, elected or not, I will still be here to advocate for those in need. That being said, even though I am getting back into my business of Real Estate, I am still here for you guys.
I love all of you guys.
